Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Allow to sit for 15 minutes.
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until bubbly, about 1-2 minutes.
Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C). Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the lemon juice, parsley, chives, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and cook for an additional minute. Serve immediately.
