Ingredients

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets, washed and trimmed
- 1 bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and red pepper flakes until smooth. Set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the sliced chicken to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Add the broccoli, bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Pour the prepared stir fry sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.
