Introducing an irresistible dish that brings the heart of Italian comfort food right to your table: Easy One-Pot Spicy Pasta with Burrata. This recipe is perfect for those busy weeknights when you crave something flavorful without spending hours in the kitchen.
Ingredients
Scale:
12 oz. spaghetti or your favorite pasta
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14 oz.) crushed tomatoes
2 cups vegetable broth or water
8 oz. creamy burrata cheese
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat for about 1 minute.
Add the diced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the crushed tomatoes and vegetable broth, stirring well to combine.
Increase the heat to bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, add the spaghetti and salt. Stir to ensure the pasta is submerged.
Reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover the pot and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.
Remove the pot from heat. Tear or cut the burrata into pieces and fold it into the pasta.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and shaved Parmesan cheese if desired.
