  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan thoroughly to prevent sticking.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pureed prunes, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
