These bites are not only quick to prepare, taking just 10 minutes from start to finish, but they also deliver a satisfying crunch and a spicy kick thanks to the iconic Bang Bang sauce.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skin removed
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon lime juice (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, approximately 1-inch pieces.
In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, beat the egg, and in a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
Dredge each salmon cube in the flour mixture, then dip it into the beaten egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the salmon bites in a single layer in the basket.
Cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Prepare the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl.
Once cooked, remove the salmon bites from the air fryer and serve with the Bang Bang sauce.
