A quick and healthy dinner option that combines the richness of garlic butter with fresh herbs for a flavorful dish.
Ingredients
Scale:
4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a bit of olive oil.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets in the baking dish, skin-side down. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the fillets.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in the center.
While the salmon is baking, combine the Greek yogurt, fresh dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well and adjust seasoning as needed.
Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve topped with the lemon dill sauce.
